H.E. Adel Mohammad Adaileh the Jordanian Ambassador to Korea said "We're going through tough time. There are the refugees in Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Yemen due to civil wars and IS attack. Also, in the world's harsh economic climate, natural disasters occur ever more frequently and stronger. That's why the numbers of people who are in trouble and who need help immediately are continuing to rise. So Emergency Relief efforts belong to a person or a country. It needs careful interest and partnership of International society.", and he said “This 2018 Save the World International Forum will help people recognize the importance of global partnership for emergency relief, and will contribute to solving global issues, such as climate disasters and refugees, on the basis of cooperation and partnership.”

Kim Ok-hyun, vice chairman of the Korea Committee for the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the world's largest environmental protection organization, gave a lecture on "Increasing climate disasters and building global partnership".

"The word, ‘climate disaster’ appeared after the middle of the 20th century. It was a natural disaster before. Climate change is a misfortune created by human action. The greenhouse gas generated by the use of fossil fuels covered the atmosphere like a blanket. The number of climate disasters that occurred in the world between 1980 and 1985 was 1571, increasing to 4140 from 2012 to 2017. The damage also increased from $ 252 billion in 1980 to 1985 to more than $ 1 trillion in 2012 and 2017. In 2011, 18 million people were lost their houses during the floods in Pakistan, and in 2013, a super typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines Tacloban. The International WeLoveU Foundation has built a school for Filipino students suffering from typhoons to continue their studies.

We live in an era of climate change. A climate disaster is a daily risk that can befall anyone. Therefore, international organizations, countries, local governments and civil society such as International WeLoveU Foundation should establish partnerships. The government, local government, and international NGOs should complement each other to suit their respective roles and capabilities and establish efficient cooperative relations."

Paul Wilcox, director of Russia and Mongolia at the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, announced "cooperation of global friends to overcome disasters." Wilcox is the protagonist who proposed a "Domodachi operation" to help victims when the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan in March 2011. "Tomodachi" means "friend" in Japanese.

"What I learned from the International WeLoveU Foundation is to help suffered friends. When I was working in Japan during the East Japan Earthquake, the commander of India and the Pacific asked me how to help. I suggested, 'We must respond immediately, and the operation name is 'Tomodachi'. It was important for the Japanese people to know that they were helping as a friend. We stressed that running to friends while providing humanitarian assistance to those affected by the earthquake and tsunami.

It became difficult to deal with climate disasters as their frequency of occurrence has been rising and their complexions have been more complicated. Unimaginable large-scale disaster can occur. Human beings are one family. We have to case out to cure pain of global family not with words but with action. Without awareness of reason, we can never get solution. First of all, we must recognize that climate change is a worldwide problem caused by human and strengthen the knowledge base. Academic world, NGO and experts should cooperate for it.”

Abdul-hameed the President of United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS) who was given the Special Consultative Status from UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), Al Mufleh the Secretary General of Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and Kim Joo-cheol the Vice-chairman of the International WeLoveU Foundation sought for ways to cooperate by sharing examples of each country about prevention of disaster, disaster confrontation system, Emergency Relief, Global Partnership, etc.

As the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and the United Iraqi Medical Society have collaborated with International organizations such as WHO, UNHCR, WFP, UNICEF and UNDP for running a variety of support programs, which gives us a chance to identify specific instances building of global partnership.
