Blood Donation, Valuable Work to Save Life – International WeLoveU Foundation
Blood donation, Worthy to save lives
Blood donation is a very valuable work to save lives. For someone who is life-threatening because they lack one or more of the blood components, it is blood donation that a healthy person distributes his blood without any cost. Saving lives is something anyone can do, but it's not an easy thing to do. Blood donation is something that a healthy person can spend a little time trying to save a life.
Modern medical technology or modern science has developed a lot, but blood can't be made or replaced by artificial. Therefore, for patients who need blood transfusion, their life can be at risk without blood. Also, blood obtained from blood donations will be unavailable after about a month, so only continuous blood donations from blood donors can save the lives of emergency patients.
According to the Korean Red Cross survey, the number of blood donors is decreasing every year. While the demand for blood is increasing because of low birth rates and aging, the number of people participating in blood donations is decreasing and difficulties in blood supply and demand are becoming more serious. O-type of blood, which is mainly used for emergency transfusions, is in short supply. In Australia, some companies recognize blood donation time as working hours in order to increase the participation rate of workers. In Belgium, the age limit has been abolished to address the shortage of blood donation.

International WeLoveU Foundation's Worldwide Blood Drive
At this time when the world is suffering from blood shortage, there is an organization where a steady blood drive helps those who need blood transfusions. It is the International WeLoveU Foundation. The International WeLoveU Foundation provides blood to the victims through blood donations with the heart of the mother who wishes their children to grow up safely. The activities of the International WeLoveU Foundation are blooming in the world.
Worldwide Blood Drives help emergency patients who need blood transfusion, as well as inform about the importance of blood donation and encourage others to join in the work of saving lives through blood donations. In addition, the International WeLove Foundation holds a forum for the establishment of a global blood donation network and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean National Red Cross to put love for mankind around the world into practice.
So far, the WeLoveU’s worldwide Blood Drive, which began in 2004, has involved 37,222 people from 41 countries. What happens if no one donates his blood when my family or neighborhood needs emergency transfusions? Blood donation is for me and my family and it is the practice of love toward all human beings in the world. The International WeLoveU Foundation is expected to conduct Blood Drive, a global life-saving activity, with more people.

WeLoveU foundation members really have warm hearts. Blood Drive is a great campaign! I'm so surprised that it has been involved about 40,000 ppl for 15 yrs.
